We start by detailing the arrangement, scope, and purpose of the document, as well as define common terms. What are the continuing education requirements for Oregon water operators?

DRINKING WATER

The requirements to renew an Oregon water operator license are:

  • Complete 2 CEU's (20 Contact Hours) every two years.
  • Submit a CEU self-certification form with a signed affidavit affirming that you have completed the 2.0 CEU's within the 2-year renewal period.

Oregon Wastewater Operators are required to complete 20 continuing education hours (2.0 CEUs) for renewal every two years.

State Of Oregon Water Operator License Renewal Deadlines

  • Drinking Water: Your license must be renewed by December 31. If your last name begins with A-K, you renew every even-numbered year. If your last name begins with L-Z, you renew every odd-numbered year.
  • Wastewater: Your license expires June 30 or December 31, every two years.
