What are the CE requirements to renew a Hawaii water operator certificate?

DRINKING WATER

Hawaii Drinking Water Operators are required to complete 0.8 - 1.6 continuing education units (8-16 hours) for renewal every two years, depending on license type.

 

  • License Expiration Date: November 30th (Odd-numbered years for last names that start with A-K; even-numbered years for last names that start with L-Z)
  • Grade 1 or 2 = 0.8 CEUs (8 hours)
  • Grade 3 or 4 = 1.6 CEUs (16 hours)

WASTEWATER

Hawaii Wastewater Operators are required to complete 2.0 continuing education units (CEUs), 20 hours, for renewal every two years.

  • License Renewal Deadline: October 15th, every even year.
